Giga Slave, a casual shooting MMO developed by GNi Soft and published by SesiSoft is officially branching out to the world with the help of this year’s G-Star. During the G-Star period, SesiSoft managed to establish export deals with various local publishers, those of which include AsiaSoft, in charge of Thailand service, and Aeria Games, in charge of Giga Slave service in the United States, Europe, and South America. AsiaSoft, established in 2001, is a major game publisher in Southeast Asia that has led to success many of Korean online game titles, such as Ragnarok Online and Sudden Attack in Thailand. Aeria Games, established in 2006, is another expert game publisher with a community user base of over 14 million in Europe and North America. Aeria Games has previously serviced Last Chaos, Shaiya, and Twelve Sky 2.
Giga Slave is currently at its OBT stage in Korea, and is scheduled for launch in early 2011. It is actively preparing for localization as it expects success from overseas markets with the game’s action shooting features. Meanwhile, Giga Slave is a sequel to Art of War that is still continuing its service in China with overwhelming popularity.
