Ghosts ‘n Goblins invade online world

Do you remember Ghosts ‘n Goblins, a side-scrolling popular video arcades game that swept away your mind as a little kid? Now you can access the classic platform game online. An online version of Ghosts ‘n Goblins will be revealed for the first time in this year’s Gstar 2010. Developed by Seed9 Games, a subsidiary of CJ Internet, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online is a sequel to Capcom‘s platform game, Ghosts ‘n Goblins in 1985 that has since been released on various other platforms including Nintendo Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo Entertainment System, PC, and Apple’s iOS. Capcom is a Japan-based video game developer and publisher famous for some of the best-selling video game franchises, such as its Street Fighter series. As many sequels to Ghosts ‘n Goblins had been released on multiple platforms, in total, over 4,100,000 copies of various versions of Ghosts ‘n Goblins have been sold worldwide. In Korea, Ghosts ‘n Goblins is mainly remembered as a video arcades game, and is expected to have a ready-made audience.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online seeks to capture the original’s action play, unique characters, and world system while making it easier for first-time players to play Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online through simple controls and an improved version of comic horror action. It will focus on action, but will also have a bit of MMO taste. In this year’s Gstar 2010 that will be held this November in Busan, Korea, two classes of Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online will be revealed, and there will also be a place for visitors to try the first three stages of the game. More information on Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online will be available on Gstar 2010 website once the site opens in mid-November.

    Oh my god.. Ghosts N Goblins has been my favorite game since I was a kid, I’ve played on and off over the years as I’ve gotten older and each time it continues to be fun and amazing. This is a dream come true.. No, seriously, I think I’m in heaven.
